It does say on the warning this offense normally is a $201 fine. I figure now that I’m in their system the next time won’t be a warning.

She did say no points are accessed.

Bunch of years ago I remember Georgia was testing them, just never knew they actually existed now.

I run mostly nights so actually seeing an open scale is kind of rare for me.

that is exactly why I prefer to run at night! Not that I run so grossly overloaded. it’s just, why ask for trouble?

The $200 isn't what would hurt. 30 points is a hurt.

All Landstarve's trailers, at least the vans, have auto inflators.

So when you hear the air going through your valves or see the tanks quickly cycling to 95ish, you know there's a problamo without even checking.

This is providing that someone hasn't closed the valve on the auto inflators. Cause the system leaks like a sieve on older trailers.

So the rest of the story..
I had my auto inflation valve off.. I actually turn it on as part of my pre trip and let the tires balance out if needed. Then I shut it off because it leaks I think in the axles.. It’s an audible leak howling type sound and it’s a significant air loss. With the valve off everything is tight and right.
