My room was in the back... for almost U$30.00 this is what I got... and no hot water in the shower and just drops of water in the sink... only a few public channels... and my nose got stuffed in there, kept sneezing and came back with a cold... sore throat and temperature...

I was exhausted and frustrate yesterday.... body aching.... feet aching from so much walking... didn't accomplish much anything... went to several apart-hotels trying to find where my next hotel will be but couldn't find anything... took a cold shower and laid in bed... thinking....

 

Stop confusing the weather with climate you neanderthal. This is a job for Government funded climatologists who claim they can fix the um....weather.
I can tell from the tone of your voice that you like dirty air, unsafe water and dead puppies.
Shew. Now stop paying attention and just climb on board. It would be much easier that way.

 

The best way to describe my feelings about being here in Rio is I feel like a time traveler.... going to the future... to a place where I used to know very well and now it looks like another place, very strange...
This place has almost nothing to do with the place where I was born and raised... even though I was born and raise here....
When I was a teenager I could walk the whole neighborhood with my eyes shut... yesterday, when I came out of the subway, I had no idea where I was... even with Google satellite in hands.. I walked up and down the streets without recognizing anything.. and had to go back several times, trying to find the right street, and had to ask for directions a couple times... that is almost "embarrassing"...
That's why I tell people who tell me I am back home... NO... this is not my home any more... I have no home ... the past is in the past... it's gone.. and I don't go back to what is gone...
Sorry for the ranting here... but I am not feeling very well... not only the temp I have but the aches and the frustration of not having accomplished much anything in all the time I have already been here... Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow...

I know that feeling. Wherd I grew up never felt like home after I moved to Az. Then after my grandparents died, it really didnt feel like home. Even my mom & her husband's house/40 acres just feels like "their place" even though I lived there for most of my childhood.

But I wanna go to Rio real bad. Be my tour guide? Lol

At least 6 trucks blew over on the 15 south just as you exit the Cajon pass.

I wasn’t one of them. I got pushed across 3 lanes at one point. I only saw 6.
