Still say it’s the airport. They gotta get there and then leave.

I took today off, slept late, and ate breakfast at about 7pm.

Cooked some Andouille sausage that Missus Skillet picked up at the store. "Made in Ohio", but still had a great balance of heat and flavor.

    Then, I took a soul-cleansing dump.

Last night was my last night as a trailer preloader.

I was told Monday that the Big Boss has decided I need to go pull loads on the street.

The thing that raises my hackles is that it was presented to me as though my performance as a loader is substandard, so I'm being "punished" by reassignment to the road.o_O

I just happened to see last night, that the trucking company next door to us is looking for a preloader, and paying a buck more an hour.

Got a couple more irons in the fire. We'll see what happens.

But it's Thanksgiving weekend, so, eff everything job related......

I unloaded this pallet of tires this morning. The pallet weighed 5000 lbs, I think they are solid core rubber tires with wheels mounted that go on military vehicles.

It was so heavy that the forklift was coming up off the ground, it was quite sketchy moving it down the dock.

Well I'm getting up about 245 am to go load for Monday this low paying van freight. Hope everyone has a good evening on WIiS.

It’s just part of a quilt. All polyester if that tells you anything. I think my grandmother started it and it never got finished. Have one or two more the same.
