Sounds as if some law-abiding do gooder felt the urge to save the neighborhood and leaned on the banker. Happens a lot when self centered people take on betterment patrol and the banker is a weak sister. Once granted a finance line, I would be very "put out" if he tried to cancel it.
Barring me have missed the fine print where I usually lined thru, I might own me a bank or suddenly become a major stockholder.
