If I had to live in a truck with 3 other people I'm pretty sure I would need to be on stuff that would cause me to fail said drug tests lol.

It ain't just you. I'm going thru the same thing too. Should I go try food service? Always wanted to but I have a good job I like now. Should I go work for Pepsi or Budweiser so I can drive a side loader like I originally wanted to when I started driving again? Then there is the tanker company that I road tested with that offered me a job...that would be different lol. I'm like a woman with it too so don't feel bad. It feels weird wondering about other jobs becyi never have before, at ups I knew I was gonna do my 20 and roll so there were never any thoughts of what is another job like but now that I'm in a position where I can just do whatever I want I'm always looking at other trucks and wondering what it would be like to drive them.

Oh yeah... BRASIL IS WONDERFUL.... So.. I have to update the deed my dad left after he passed away.... Was told I had to go to a government agency in the city of Rio and request a certificate of exemption of taxes and bring that to another agency....
I am in Cabo Frio, about 3 hrs away from the city of Rio cause I have other things to do in Cabo Frio... so, I went to the government agency last month and was told I had to register online first and open a process... everything in this country is a freakin process that takes forever....:angry2:
I went online on 10/10 and tried to register but for some reason, couldn't finish my registration... Was supposed to receive an automatic email that took 10 days to receive. The email said I had to provide documentation to finish my registration online. But I needed some digital certificate in order to provide such documentation online which I don't have ... So, I would have to go in person to the government agency in the city of Rio and provide them with such documentation.
But all visits to the government in the city of Rio must be set online by appointment only... and generally it takes more than 10 days to get an appointment.

So, I gathered a bunch of paperwork, paid a bunch or small taxes, set the freakin appointment and went to the city of Rio yesterday...
Arrived before my appointment and set there for almost one hr passed my appointment till someone called me and others that had appointment at the same time to go to form another line and get a number at another desk and sit and wait some more to be called again... :angry1:
When I finally got to the person who was supposed to help me, he told me I had to do everything online... :angry5:
But I can't, I told him, cause I don't have the freakin digital certificate... And he couldn't understand what that was and kept saying I would have to go online again and register and initiate everything online.
So, I came back to Cabo Frio and tried to register again... but my password or whatever is incorrect... I was denied access...
So, I sent email to them saying I don't have the (freakin) digital certificate to finish the online registration and attached all the documents they requested... Note that I had to go to an internet shop to scan the documents because I am in a hotel and don't have scanner...

Thankfully someone responded today and told me that I will have to go back to the government agency in the city of Rio and request them to initiate a process in order just to finish my registration online and after so many days or so, be able to start a process that will evaluate my situation to determine if I owe them taxes, and they will probably request more documents that I will provide in person at the government agency in Rio and will have to set appointments online... so forth and so on... :banghead:

This is a freakin NIGHTMARE! Typical Brazilian bureaucracy... :angry7:
I start to see that I may have to go back to the USA to take care of other things cause I also have things in America and nobody to take care of them and then come back to Brasil to finish this all...

In the meantime I will continue posting images of this wonderful paradise land...
