Absolutely. The Hazul and I both get about $2,000 a month from SSI. Every month she gives me $1,000 and the rest is hers to spend as she wishes. I pay all the bills and she buys 99% of the groceries.
I NEVER have to ask "why did you buy this or that." It's her money and she spends it like she wants to.
It takes a whole lot of drama and bad feelings out of the relationship.

No need for cash. Can have as much money as I want. Just have to call and put it on the card. Don’t keep large amounts on the card, like $25 at any given time. That way if it gets lost or stolen, then not much can be lost.
