That's pretty much what happened, except the dispatcher is a city driver filling in who is a friend. I was on the dock breaking freight when he texted.

The pickups cost me over an hour, two bulk tanks, one was hazmat and needed UN numbers and this company said they didn't have any. Luckily I had three and they made a photocopy of the fourth.

Wasn't pretty but it was legal. A lot of these chemical companies dont provide placards.

Mom almost fell down the down escalator in jc pennys today. When we went up she said these things terrify me. Great. So on the way down she took one step on the thing and her other foot didn't. Luckily I was right behind her and caught her by her jacket.
