I remember how the humid cold would soak in to the bone. Cold is miserable on the Gulf Coast.
I have wondered. Wool keeps you warm even if it's wet. I wonder how well wool will work on the Gulf Coast/Florida? Try it?
What if it Snows?

I stumbled on this earlier today. For some reason @otterinthewater came to mind...

RidgeRunner731, Judge, thelushlarry and 7 others Thank this. -
The plot thickens... did number on a glad hand.
thelushlarry, Cattleman84, Rocks and 6 others Thank this. -
Well both factory glad hands seem to be there on the corner above the airline box.
But that third one... It does not compute. Did the trailer suffer a trolley side failure of that line and needed to be bypassed to get brakes unlocked maybe?
Edit
NVM. Its looped around that round bar. Its nothing on it. I wonder if previous driver left it there after breaking his airline. -
Sexton Pass today in Oregon. 2000’ and the temp was 75° with 25% humidity. Driving through Oregon in this kind of weather with both windows down listening to Groove Armada doesn’t suck.

Yup. I saw him leave. And the parking lot has maybe 4-6 truck parking spots. What he was doing over there is beyond me.thelushlarry, Cattleman84, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this.

@otterinthewater Where’s Wilmington CA?
Anywhere near your part of the world?
Found out today a favorite movie of mine had some scenes shot at some old soap factory there. US Borax I think...thelushlarry, D.Tibbitt, FlaSwampRat and 2 others Thank this. -
That's not kosher. Frankly something like that needs fixing pronto. I hate to consider that our truckers are such doolies and sadsacks in flip flops unable to attend to routine owchies...
Cattleman84, Rocks, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
Saw something I’ve never seen before.
A car fire. More than one actually.
On a car carrier. Near the Loves by the Winston exit.
Odd.thelushlarry, Cattleman84, Rocks and 4 others Thank this. -
Was the fire anywhere near the weed burning tractor on the bottom forward at the 5th wheel perhaps?D.Tibbitt, Dave_in_AZ and otterinthewater Thank this.
