    We bought a GE Top Freezer 22 Cu last year. Ice maker never worked. GE sent a guy out with a new ice maker but that didn't work either. Something wrong with the wiring in the fridge. So GE refunded the purchase price. I could still get one like it at Lowes for a couple hundred less than we got from GE but my wife is happy with just using some ice trays. Works for me.

    I'm in $100 on the post office and a bank. Year or so ago, I sent a niece a check for $100 as grad gift.
    No reply and not in the statement. OK, next month statement. Not there either. Called her, did you get the check. Yessir, much appreciated. Did you cash it or give it to your folks to handle? I cashed it at the bank, got my first 100 dollar bill.
    So, that check must have been cleared on to some bank with the same account number and not noticed by it owner. I love hi tech banking when it fouls up in my favor.
    Occasionally you hit, occasionally...
