What if it Snows?

Ah the joys of a big show....

Did one that was paying good (not special just good) that ended up paying real good in the end.

Was one of those multiple trucks per booth loads. And a little over a drive shift between locations.

Ended up getting called to load exceptionally late. And was kinda surprised I ended up with a Job Box on the tail. I just did the "What Ever" shrug. said to myself "If it fits it Ships". Snapped a picture of the load, closed the doors, Kicked the tires, Lit the fire, and motored into the night.

Got a text the next morning of "Are you the one they loaded late? And do you have the tool box on your truck"

Sent the photo to the freight company and got an immediate phone call back. Evidently each booth had a team truck assigned to it that was supposed to be the last one loaded and have the tool box. Team truck should have been the first one showing up at the other end. They messed up and gave me the team load. When I answered the immediate phone call and confirmed I was on track for delivering per load assignment. The guy just said we are also paying you $100 per hour for every hour you get there before your appointment time. 8 hour sleeper had just completed as I finished the coffee. Fast pre-trip and started the slow roll through morning commute traffic.

Funny thing was I didn't get called into the destination hall until a couple hours after my original appointment time. Zero remorse for the fix-it check.

 

Trucking in the blood. Lol

 

Funny part is my logs were working for litteraly 10 minutes until i put the truck in motion and the entire system shutdown . it is still logging my position so im afraid there wont be any outlaw #### to come from this lol

 

They gotta see how the 5 yr old is doing & report to child services.

 

Are you now part of that pilot program for under 21 interstate drivers?

 

Next thing you know the megas will have a delivery setup sleeper . so they can get the 2 year contracts signed asap.
