The pipeline and grading company I used to drive for there was a guy that ran a excavator on the water crew . His regular machine was a 320 cat , but I've seen him get on Deere , Case , rubber tire backhoe it didn't matter and never seen him miss a beat. I can load the different ones no problem, but I have to do it slowly and really think about it or I'll mess up. But this was back in the early 90's before that company started drug testing and the guy was always stoned. But I will say he was a hard worker and one of the best operators I've ever seen.

 

Pack of dry BEP about 4 good thick slices of fatback some water . I cooked the collards yesterday, cooking the BEP now , about noon I'll warm the collards up and fix some cracklin cornbread ( with no sugar in it , because I don't want to go to hell).

Winter has returned to the homestead with a light dusting just enough to cover the grass. Still no ice fishing maybe this cold front that’s on h way will skin over the small lakes. The over use of fuel treatments shall commence.
