    HAPPY SATURDAY!
I'm as ready as I can be for the Big Snow.
Got nine (9) gallons of milk and twenty seven (27) loaves of bread.

Years ago prior to the invasion of the poison that is European influence, trucks were reliable. Now, too many people with more money than brains decided we need to be brought down to the level of the rest of the world and their junk.

Globalism, you know. It’s better for everyone.

Neighbor be expecting to use the dog next season. Setting up companionship already.

A true on borrowed bird dogs:
Hercutt Jackson; one of our drivers. Loved to bird hunt, but did not have any place to hunt. So he would ask to go with you sometimes since you had access. Said he knew a man where he could borrow a stomp down good dog.
At meeting, he would have a dog and his shotgun, ask what gauge you was shooting as he had not brought but 2 or 3 shells. So you gave him half of a box and away to hunt. Wind, no birds, strange dog handler so no birds.
Getting late and starting back, a rabbit jumps out, dog tears out after it. Hercutt instinctively cuts down on the rabbit... DOG YELPS..
Dog not hit hard, some sprinkles of blood spots, but does seem kind distant when putting in the truck.
All this time, Hercutt is wailing about shooting the dog... Was told no biggie, dog alive, wipe off the shot spots and has quit bleeding.
Still beside himself, and finally told why... He said he asked the owner when he picked him up if he was any good.
Man said : "Hell yea, I turned down $300.00 for him yesterday..."
