The snow on the western side of the wasatch front has been heavy. They have been working avalanche zones a lot this year.

This is projected Wednesday afternoon, the cyclonic storm may set all time records for low pressure in Kansas. Winds near the vortex may be in Category 2 hurricane class.

Storm? We don't need no stinking storm.

Lepton1 is right, there is sort of a windstorm going on say from Pierre-North Platte-Denver today and all of that 60 mph and higher gusts are working east. We are expecting 35 to 40 or higher next couple of days but nothing wild with the rain and storms tomorrow. (Another frontal passage, SPC has been keeping us posted on this event, but nothing like a major outbreak or something yet)
Where we are winds are good in the spring. Blow dry everything wet. Or possibly icy. We expect 20 degree temps before sunrise friday, so whatever is still wet thursday night is going to freeze over nicely.Lepton1 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
