A boiled dinner, usually a Sunday staple of a Portuguese household. Is all of those ingredients, with some minor changes.

Yeah, but it was like the difference between a base model Cavileer and a tricked out Cadillac.

Well finally... New year, and is has been discovered that credit card debt is way up. How long till they tally up the past due car payments.
Hide and watch how this is to be spun and/or bailed put. Some financial institutions are holding it. Year end truths are becoming apparent.

NEW YORK (AP) — Credit card defaults are on the rise for Americans, reaching the highest level in 14 years. U.S. credit card defaults jumped to a record $46 billion from January through September 2024, according to the Financial Times, citing data analyzed by BankRegData.

With high levels of credit card debt and high inflation, many consumers have found themselves unable to cover monthly payments, leading some to default.
A borrower goes into default when they miss credit card payments for over 180 days, roughly six months. When there is a failure to pay over such a long period, banks generally take this as a sign that a borrower won’t pay the debt anymore, said Matt Sotir, financial advisor with Equitable Advisors based in New Hampshire.

Defaulting on credit card debt can have serious consequences, including a negative impact on credit reports that lead to a long-lasting effect on the ability to borrow money, said Sotir.

    My takeaways...
    Highest in 14 YEARS...
Peaked in 9 months, where is the last quarter.
Have just found themselves UNABLE to pay?
Magic location,180 days and he will never pay.?

This is similar to the CA fires... Not prepared, got out of hand, incompetent collection efforts, bout as well burn it.....

Just standard modern day irresponsible generation.

A bunch of them probably have new Hummers in the yard, or have no problem dropping $500 or $800 on a football game.

No sense of priorities, no responsibility, just image and live for the moment.
