    This is the Triple Nickel. This is one of the jets I was assigned to. This is one of only a few aircraft to survive a SAM hit and still be flying. It also has 5 confirmed mig kills.

    Back in the '80s there was a lot of drilling activity within the low level MOAs Southwest of Oklahoma City. The Phantom guys loved to scare the crap out of us, never hear them coming over the noise of the rig but you dang sure heard them once they were passed!

    I was getting upset as I read this, a 3 letter bureaucratic agency swooping in to save us from ourselves....but then, a plot twist, they actually wanted to help. Hope the people get to keep their water free from gubment involvement.
