Yeah, I nearly got a team load from OKC to Huntington Beach, CA this morning, with my brother as codriver. The load fell through. Had we taken it we would have dropped down to I-20 at Sweetwater, TX then continued west to catch I-10 in Van Horn. No way we run west on I-40 into the southern teeth of this storm, which won't abate for over 30 hours from now.

True that. Normally in Wyoming Utah blows and Nebraska sucks...

Hasn't hit us yet. Not looking forward to the next two days.
Today was beautiful. Made sure I was outside. Going out again just to enjoy the evening.

It lasted about 50 miles. Stopped now. I just shut down and these big chunks are falling off the truck. ### is dragging.

Knocking on wood my driving areas look too good for the next few days. I put my chaining clothes back in totes. That should almost guarantee that the weather will suck soon.

I'm wearing cargo shorts. Went from 61 not a cloud in the sky, to 28 / whiteout at the bottom of Austin.

That little parking spot next to the store is a swamp, so I took my 30 in the unchain zone where the 376 starts.

    Ooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Sitting in OKC and just woke up at midnight. It's almost 60°F with a drizzle fog for the South, rushing North to feed the "cyclone bomb".

More water in the air means more energy. Looks like a perfect storm.

Just spent 2 days in Iowa. They had lots of snow......fortunately, none of it on the road. But man, it was balls cold.
In Emporia ks this morning. Lovely evening last night. Got down to around 50.....great sleeping weather. Despite the moderate temperatures, Billy Big Rig found it necessary to idle all night. The only guy in this small TS that is idling, and he's parked next to me.
Headed to the big D, then back to the Good Life City.

    Lepton1 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
