Yep its in east earl pa on us322 . its my go to spot up here, ... Its kind of out of the way of any big cities and whatnot which is why i like it. Only about 15 spots to park and can usually find one open at all times of night

Had better things to do than driving the truck combined with "Give a wahoowe" running low.

How would y'all run your hours?

Start at 7am, drive 2 1/2hrs to unload. Empty at 11:30 (30min break done), drive 50mi/1hr and pick up fuel filters and lunch, leave there at 1:15ish. Arrive at pick up around 2:30 and go off duty, get loaded and tarped by 6:15 and are still off duty until now. 10hr break is up at 12:30. You arent in any rush to deliver tomorrow in Houston.

Do you make the 6hr run at 12:30 so you can deliver 1st thing in the am, which will take between an hour and 2hrs. Or do you wait till 4-5 am and run dow there so you get there around 10-11, unload then reload and have enough hrs to put some more miles down?

Can u reload asap after drop in houston? Or its an afternoon appt? Me personally i hate houston traffic so id probably get thru there in the morning and get unloaded then goof off until next load. If u do a 2 hour off duty break between loads u can then go into split sleeper and u can get back running after 8 hours in sleeper if u need to get up and run

That sounds like trip planning. I stopped doing that in May. And you are not paying me enough to do yours now.:biggrin_25522:

My magic marker cover up ended up saving me from catching a freight claim. Although i do feel kind of bad for doing that.

Wont know what I can get until 7-8am. Gonna call my other Houston dispatcher and see what he's got. He does lots of broker freight, so if he puts me on something with some miles, I'll have to figure out my hours from there. Think Im just gonna leave out early am, call him and get the ball rolling on something hopefully good or there's a chance I can do a local Houston drop (sheetrock or mud) then get another load set up for Wed.
