Cyclone stalled and should be rain on you now @tucker . We will get it Friday, oh joy. We already have a pond where the garage/barn is. Wife stopped using her garage space as her door would have been froze shut this morning.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Snow, looks like the Blizzard is here.
Seems to be very wet and heavy. Wind will be the big problem.
I-80 is closed from Cheyenne to Rawlings.Westbound23, lovesthedrive, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
I 40 east of Little Rock for about 50 miles will expect 50+ gusts pending or incoming with the frontal passage and after. Wind alerts are already going up but full out wind warnings not yet. Some parts of Arkansas might see 60+ which is my personal limit for a loaded 18 wheeler. Never with anything with less than 42000 in the box.
We are going to get the first front shortly and then the main shield rolls through rest of the day and tonight. Im not looking forward to driving in it.Dave_in_AZ and Lepton1 Thank this. -

What it is however is a essentially a hurricane force light system that is causing all sorts of problems. Rapid City, Ellsworth Bomber base and towards Montana seems to be hell on earth right now on 90. Ive been in whiteouts before up there and they pretty much paint over your windows until they are opaque.Lepton1, WesternPlains and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
