What if it Snows?

It's Christmas Shopping time coming here.... but no Christmas songs.. folks don't do that here...

 

Things will be different in the U.S when you get back as well. We are currently killing each other over what appears to be a very good chicken sandwich.

 

This is the hotel where I am staying.... but instead of a room, I am in an apartment..... with a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a service area with a big sink, and stove, big refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans, and other kitchen utensils, and broom and buckets... everything that I need....
An down there, there is a luncheonette... and bakery and snack bar.... very convenient... I like this place..





And I have that wonderful view from my bedroom window.. where lots of birds come singing every day...

 

Someone told me that in the so called "upper class" neighborhoods in Rio, street kids and homeless kids stand outside back doors of buildings waiting to attack and rob people as they leave and arrive...
The new "trend" now is for thieves to use motorcycles in their attacks.. they stop next to their victim, beat them, rob them and ride away...

 

That lasagna looks yummy!

 

Indeed... indeed... it was.. Haven't had one like that in years.....

 

Yeah, F that Rocks. You need to come back. Just choose your fast food wisely.

 

And don't count on police here... first, there's no 911... and second, they are always too late...

 

Yeah.. but the way things move here.... takes sooooooooo long to accomplish anything with this government... I am going to renew my American passport in the American Consulate in Rio cause it will expire in February and I may need to stay here longer....

 

Oh yeah.. the tenant who has been living in my apartment in Rio will be leaving in December...
So now... I will have to fix a few things there.... that means more expenses... and then find another tenant...
