Thank you very much Mr. @x1Heavy ... that's a great comment... and very true... I really appreciated what you wrote... indeed there's a huge difference between America and Brasil... America is still a land of law where law rules.. even with all the corruption that there is... unfortunately that is growing and growing... crime is growing as well... but I don't think I will live long enough to see the level of crime and corruption and lawless in America that I see and have seen in Brasil.... God bless you and America... I really miss it...

Actually you might see that level here in America. Baltimore City in Maryland comes to mind. They used to call that one Bodymore Murderland, but I am told that they have a nice nifty updated slang for it now. I forget offhand what it is.

If you ran off this video of what BALTIMORE was.. a powerful city that took pride in EVERYTHING they did, even sweeping the stoops every day... compared to what a burned out addicted rotting shell filled with violence day and night plus addicts laying in our streets unable to move because they have been in withdrawal too long and cannot function prior to death.

When you view this video, remember this was the life I remember very clearly up until the day my family moved from that violent city to the country where there is no violence at all back then.

Those days are gone forever. What we are facing now in America is a sort of a rise in evil. I don't know any other word for it. Probably because the young ones have fathers that are gang bangers and taught their children how to be evil too. Worse than say Gaza City if you ask me where thier children promise to spill their own blood to see free nations destroyed.

Something is very wrong when you have children doing these things. It's just not right.

BTW baltimore population is around 650,000 mostly elderly, sick and predators.

Oh yeah.. I understand that Mr @x1Heavy ... it's sad to see all the decadence and destruction and trash of a town where we were born and raised.. a town that used to be beautiful, known all around the world as a "paradise"... productive and seductive and we took pride in being from there and living there... but now is a shame...:biggrin_2557:
Watching your video of old Baltimore reminded me that Rio used to be a magnificent place back in the 50's and 60's...
Every tourist wanted to go there... it was nice and friendly and safe and romantic...
Hey.. did you know that Rio was once the Federal capital of Brasil? That was before the construction of Brasilia in 1960.

It saddens me to see what Rio has become now... a paradise for drug dealers... very high crime... one of the highest in the country... stronghold of prostitution.. a filthy, ugly city.. totally bankrupt by its shameless politicians.. a city of fear where citizens are terrorized by criminals... police is terrorized by criminals... and I don't think it's going to get any better...:biggrin_25513:

    Careful. //half laughing myself.

I dont know what a sterling is. Excepting a failed production one year late 90's

I had a bunch of handles in my time.

SOB, That Deaf SOB, whippersnapper, Runt, earplugs, coke bottles etc. The final straw was they hung one on me Mr Rogers because of the horrible sweater I was wearing one day in Whites instead of (I-81, 205 mm truckstop long ago) of a proper set up. I can still hear them laughing and cracking up to this day. Just one little bad weather day and I had to pick a sweater.

(That was the very last time I took a sweater on the road...)

I type this while happy. But in those days it can be hard on you if you let it.

Another time we were up in Guinness NY where they make the ale. I muffed a stop sign and got hauled over. Lawman was standing on my fuel tank going on and on and on about stopping at stop signs. I kept mouth shut.

Long enough for him to ask. #### you deaf or what? Sure am.

That took care of that. And a ticket. Sign here. I waited a very long time that night to get loaded in the bullpen. What a night.

Im just happy at the idea I would not have to deal with the Irish so much and their many words anymore up there.

You would be surprised what comes out of air tanks when they FINALLY get drained. I learned that lesson on the milk tractor one fine day. Shop boss says you see these two #### valves under there? Open them #### things and step back.

It was almost a full day before she quit emptying that pair of tanks. Came out to more than a 5 gallon bucket. Served me right.
