So I had put my two weeks in but now I'm thinking about staying. They are trying to move my hours up and give me a pick of days.... I really like working here and if they are willing to try to work with me I feel I owe them the same.
Rocks, kemosabi49, gentleroger and 5 others Thank this. -

Thanks virginia DOT . got cussed at on the scale. They give me red light to stop on scale so i stopped . lady comes over the microphone and says something to the effect of "hdhdjakxbcnfkdms" . so i sit there and tell her "say that again, couldnt understand" . i assume the speaker only works one way because the next words out of the microphone was . "driver, GO !! get the hell off my scale !" . sheesh somebodies having a bad day . dont put up a red light if u want me to keep driving

HAHAHAHA.
Story of my life on the old scales around Virginia. Usually "Get the F off my scale driver..." oh ok. What about GO!!!! GOOOOO!!!
Welp back on the big road. Espeically when I thumbed their scale with a 120000 pound 40 foot box container.RidgeRunner731, Rocks, lovesthedrive and 3 others Thank this. -
Actually..... Utah encourages everyone in the Schools to be armed. From the Principal, and Teachers, to the Janitors, and Groundskeepers. Only ones not armed are too timid. They're even offered training. No one is forced to 'carry'.RidgeRunner731, Accidental Trucker, Rocks and 3 others Thank this.
