I think some long ago prophet must have put some such wording into some scriptural text... Cause this is the gospel truth!

I believe they have a bar, Ive never had cause to investigate... Until now. I know they have a good diner, pool tables, and more.

Why did you build it with the openings toward the lake? Or is that the boat house?

If a tornado hits it, and turns it into matchsticks, who's insurance pays? Yours or the contractors?

I mean technically it's not a home yet.

And if it only tears down like half of it, will they only pay to scab on a new half, or full replacement?

    lovesthedrive Thanks this.

I had to buy “builders risk” insurance though my homeowner policy. That would pay for tornadoes and fire damage and for theft of material.
But when they stole my contractors Bobcat last month his insurance had to pay.

If we had a quake according to our insurance in the old home it's minus 18% deductable to replace up to 121,000 dollars. Meaning we pay about 21000 or so in cash up front when building a replacement house on site. (Demo of old would be a thousand or two at most... cheap)

A straight tornado would be a total replacement up to 128000 cost without question. What's really crazy is we had dozens pass by or over head in the clouds. The closest day we had was when it ripped out about 10 telephone poles on our road clean out starting at 200 yards down and ending at about roughly 500 yards distant. I didnt notice when the power quit online, my computer fed off the battery for several hours in gaming that day. With the battlefield violence and exploding etc the destruction outside was not noticed either. What a way to go that.

More importantly it missed the company 18 wheeler parked. I would hate to call the bossman and tell him that the whole thing up and gone with the wind.
