What if it Snows?

Ever been? If not, it's worth the price of admission to experience Top Fuel / Funny Car....vision is blurry, whole body vibrating as they pass by.

 

It's some thing some restaurants are doing where they put their brand into the bread. It doesn't change the flavor. This was my first time eating a "smash burger". It was good but the double patties equaled about one normal sized one.

 

We have a big tractor pull around here when they run the unlimited modified , 6 600ci engines hanging off a frame burning idk nitro methane? They loud n smelly . Super pull of the South hosted by the lions club 2 days of fun , makes a ton of money for the local schools

 

Saw my first ones at Alamo Dragway near Poteet Tx. 1981. Big Daddy Don Garlits. Shirley Muldowney. Don Prudhomme. Bunch of others. Boiling hot. Good times.

Old lady trucker is still driving years after over 6 million safe miles and half a century OTR

 

3 on the tree took my nephew's a bit to figure out, then when I modified it I put a C-6 auto in it with a Locar shifter, floor mounted stick, looks like a manual with no clutch, a lot of these younger people can easily be completely baffled just due to how something looks.

We have a guy here in town that has a 36 Chevy rat rod with a 327 and 5 speed, along with floor start, no windows, no door locks and nobody even tries to touch it, was talking too him 1 day and he said that I was the only person he'd talked too other than his friends that even knew what they were looking at.

 

Sure, 6 million miles and 50 years and never rubbed a trailer.
That's easy enough to believe.

 

Just sitting there the wheel of death & destruction looked harmless. No helmets or padding. Just dirt & rocks. You had to be tough back then.
