I enjoy being gone 4.5 days a week. Gives my other half her space to do her piddling around and I have enough time on the weekends to do my thing.

Now there is an old name from the past- Billy Sol Estes, one thing for sure Texans loved country boys who they thought were millionaires back in the 60s and 70s. He tripled the amount he was getting from the banks when they told him the equipment had to have individual serial numbers. Old Billy had them put on the tanks but made them so he could move the numbers from tank to tank.

Dad did too, Washington Carrier's out of Othello WA., the owner was also really good at making sure his tractors and trailers werent where they were supposed to be when the payments were late.
He had one that got repossessed in I think Patterson, WA. Driver went in to eat, came out and tractor was gone, trailer in parking lot with a load in it. He sent another tractor the next morning to pick up the trailer and driver. Have no idea where that dude slept as the hotel was already shuttered by that time.

Well— the morning is off to a dubious start— after passing a cannonball that may or may not have resulted in severe rectal damage first thing we are approaching the hive of the most hostile idiots in the western USA — we hope to make the passage without carnage and have breakfast at the Lenny’s in Nephi— more to follow
