First thing tomorrow morning that P.O.S. is off the fleet and II is getting swapped back on. It'll take all week, but that's enough of that mother ####er money pit.

I’m sorry but that made me laugh. Speaking of coolant leaks , that one small leak my bike had last year has not reappeared so far. Knock on wood

No.....I was in it ankle deep, but jumped in head first.

The only thing my dad said was," It's not the kind of life a man would want his son to lead."

I look at some of the families at church, and these are people with real lives.

It makes me realize how far removed The OM and I are from being part of one of those.

And whilst everything is possible for God, for me and The OM, not so much.

Finally caught up. Was a struggle. Dave this Silverado is the only vehicle I’ve ever owned that is on its third tranny ( not to be confused with Bruce Jenner ) in less than 100k. My 94 Cheyenne had 147 on it with the original 700R4 tranny. And the Mighty BOT has 167 on the original 4L60E. My 69 Impala had about 170 on it but had the turbo 350 replaced one (1) time. Drove it for about a year with no reverse and no third gear lol

The last Uber dude I had was a retired Master Sergeant. Sniper.

    We started talking about PTSD.

He's like," You really know your ####. You're certain you weren't there? You sound exactly like my psychiatrist."

Nah man. I'm just a charter member.

My mom's parents got a new vehicle every 4 years. I have a tendency to hold on to vehicles a long time.

Hang in there & try to have faith.

I do not believe in bad/good luck either. Though I will mention bad luck all the time. And, Karma....... Might be something to that, though. Who the hell knows.

Dave, I have also had a miserable ### 2yrs that has that has drained me financially in a major way.

Difference for me is it hasn't been mechanical issues, but sudden onset of medical issues that may take me completely out of the game with no back up at all.

9mos combined down last year & hard to even comprehend the loss of income I've had. Thank God I have kept my medical insurance up to date or I'd have been long done.

But, I still believe everything does happen for a reason. And, in every one of the huge trials I have gone through in the past, I have come out for the better in one manner or another.

You'll get through this. Just as you have gotten through everything in the past with a little help from upstairs. Keep the faith.

Everything now is just reacting in the moment to all the anxiety & stress.

Step back, and I'm sure you will clear your head a bit in the week or so setting up other truck.

Man, can't tell you how much I could relate to your mention of crooked nor strait thinking. Been there, done that. When all seems hopeless......

Your a smart Dude. You got this. You just need a breather to gather your thoughts & get your game plan back on.

You still have your health & you're still relatively young. All the rest is just BS to get through. You got this.

Ankle deep, after head first.....eh? All you had left was ankle to toes?

I have no idea what your talking about. Not a clue...... nope. That's my story & I'm sticking to it no matter what. ;)

Sounds like your father was a good man.

    ✌️
