Is that supposed to imply: "Like father, like son?"

Mack's to me were a lot like an International... Driver understood it; liked it, OK.
If did not, would never suit him.

Me back then: 470 GMC, F8/800 Fords, 22 Whites, IH 190's/V195, H63 Mack. In later years IH 9600 cabovers/9300 conventional,FLD F/Liner as rental or making a trip with and old friend still driving. 350 Cummins, 10 to 13 RR's. Wish I'd had one of them back when...

I’m with @Dave_in_AZ on Fleeceliner being junk. Something, apparently a rather important something, blew apart with a significant sound in the air system, then proceeded to f*rt equivalent to the RPMs. Drove over halfway across Lafayette and only touched the brakes once, at an ill tempered, hard hearted traffic light, in a desperate attempt to get to the truck shop before I went on the hook. Made it, by about a 10 second lol. Backed into a parking spot, and before I could set the brakes, the valve popped out. Brakes smell terrible, but we saved a tow bill. “Oh, sorry, 2nd shift starts in about 2 hours, that’s not worth getting a technician to diagnose yours until they are here.”:mad::mad: Will it be touched by morning? “We can’t guarantee that” . This truck just sealed it own doom. It’s going far far away, where I am not. Currently chilling in the drivers lounge until my sister gets here to haul me home. 2 of our boys had doc appointments this afternoon, so the wife can’t come. Fun times IMG_20250325_125718_164.jpeg truck in it’s natural habitat, at a truck shop IMG_20250325_130424_191.jpeg

There was a Blue Monster sighting on the way back from Twin — it was pretty scary
