The stealerships are what hurt. Casper The Friendly Cummins Powered Cascadia only saw a Freightliner once.

Their service department all suck, mostly.

Took it to Kenworth twice, no problems. In and out. When I had to get the after treatment done, took it to Cummins.

Go to truckcountry website and use all their free hazmat tests and practice tests. I did that before I took my hazmat exam, they had a bunch of free ones.

Also don't rule out LTL, Old Dominion, Fedex Freight, Duie Pyle, R and L, Dayton etc. I'm at a bottom pay scale terminal and on pace to hit 120k, home daily and usually work til 900 am on Saturdays.

That area up there may have you at $35-37 an hour, $52+ hr overtime and up to 85 cpm plus benefits. You will work 60 hrs a week though but that's what I've always done in trucking anyways.

Then you can stop at a taco truck and get tacos on your route like I did.

I’ll look at that truckcountry. For food i do recon ahead of time and if I see a taco joint or good restaurant that’s where I’m stopping. The belly makes the route lol

Definitely cleaner & less work than lowboy. Although Dairy routes were sometimes messy.
