Sheeeeeeeeet. Ride GS550e from San Diego to Sacramento, scrog most of the day on day two, then ride back, on a 72 hour special liberty. And not even blink. Now just old and decrepit.

Ya won't.. Last one I was around, prolly1952/3 was a neighbor who was running a grade "A" operation. Latest was s/steel bucket with the suction teat cups sitting by the cow. Suction line ? plugged in. Still had to wash, connect, observe, then unhook, dump in a 10 gallon can and carry it parlor length to sit it in the cooler. IH had just got into milk coolers. A say about 5 x 8 x 48" hi , flip up top. Like a big chest type freezer... Then daily hauled the several; 10 gallon can into town to the Miller Bros All Jersey dairy who processed, bottled, and delivered. Think "Boots" could milk 12 at a time and had about 30 in all.
Just from snaps of yours I've seen, it is highly mechanized now. Lots of piping to milk it out and deposit in the cooling tank. Almost tit to truck.

I recall having enough milk in a bucket, straddle him, left hand on his head, Right hand palm up sunk in milk in bucket, force his head down to make his mouth get my finger. Function the finger a little . A moment or two he slurps for air, ease up, let him lick and do him again,, till that milk gone. Usually trained. And om every breed of grade milk cow.

I’d bet pirates will lose, like normal. I won’t watch them cause the owner won’t spend money to win. But skenes is a great pitcher. He’ll be in ny or la or tx soon making big bucks.
