I agree, however lets also remember something. This looks like it might be a truck stop or some kind of a truck parking area. Sometimes high winds can knock over trash cans and the winds scatter trash all over the place. I have seen this happen many times. It's litter of course. Most of the time however a driver will just set their trash out and this is where it lands. (and people wonder why property owners stopped allowing parking)
Ok. 1199 miles into the return trip to Washington, at the receiver, and there is no snow. Temp has been 26F to 62F. Still remnants of snow on the passes. Very cloudy. Oh God. What if the temperature drops and it starts snowing? What if I get back out on the highway and it starts snowing? OH GOD.
My very first time behind the wheel of an OTR vehicle was after a snowstorm, with a little Fiat in a Piggly Wiggly parking lot, turning Brodie's and seeing what the limits of traction were. I was 15, practicing in my brother's car to prepare for driver's class in high school. Snow was the time to cut loose and have fun, but dial it down if you were in traffic. You never know how petrified the driver near you is.
