Some of you horsemen tell me.Back in my time; our girths had a strap extended, looped it up to the saddle ring, tuck over, pull left and flip back over the strap, up thru the ring and tucked down in. Infinite adjustment. Later saddles you would see had a buckle and punched hole arrangement.
How do you use a long punched strap on a smaller horse, or vice versa?

 

Well, looks young enough to train.....

 

Currently 43 with wind chill of 34. Nearly froze to death. Probly 30 or 40 of these things every morning.
