I dont want to say anything until im officaly hired . Doctors already lost my paperwork on the physical i did last week so got to do another physical tmrw. everything else has gone suprisingly smooth tho. Even this last load went smooth other than waiting 8 hrs to load... seems kind of weird , that usually means the #### is about to hit the fan in my experience lol

Hm. Never thought of it that way. I usually considered I was the one with the problem.

I don't mind a good quality drink of some kind. Any kind as long it's a good quality drink. Just not a whole lot of it.

When the proofs get up there it's not good to the taste as it were, or the word you chose "Palate"

I did however get introduced to a form of brandy but not quite as stiff and baseball bat knot inducing pain kind of stiff brandy raw. Combined that with a very small cigar that is not designed to be inhaled mind you. (I don't know of any that is, if you did inhale like that of a Cigerette you will get sick in a hurry.)

The two tends to balance each other well enough. I don't smoke to smoke, but when it goes with a glass or strong container of it say two total shots worth (Not much, then again you don't need much at zero tolerance, drinking to get drunk is not the goal here. more like a little sipping slowly to enjoy the experience for a while. which is not often anymore, if you did it too often then you develop a drinking habit and goes downhill from there.)

Im not here to lecture. However if you put me into a bar similar to what I grew up in and started me working on one end of the bottle rack collection under the main mirror to the other end and start the return trip on the next shelf of bottles you will quickly if carefully understand which of those bottles contain something you enjoy. The rest of them are not that enjoyable. But would be enjoyable to others.

Reduce that to three or so bottles of your favorites and combine with a small bar situation in one of your cabinets containing other types of drinks across the board. Say a bottle of rose form of wine, a zinfindel light white wine usually a red type, whites are ok, but they are not my taste. And one red wine for dinner purposes called "Molton Cadet" (Spelling?) it is a traditional basic red wine from a family in france called Rochefort or other. It's a traditional red wine for a meal like that which you will have at thanksgiving. It is not necessarily a drinking alone wine. More of a social thing with a meal. Several glasses over a one hour with the meal is quite plenty. You wont be drunk, but you will definately be enjoying life and story telling at that point. Which is what it's for. Then you have your bourbons and other similar strong spirits. One of moonshine and schnapps (Spearmint dekrupter) from Memphis east in Tennesee where it's not sold in Arkansas. A basic Vodka from Russia. followed by a little scotch from Scotland, I think a small Glenlivit. A snifter on ice and toss a shot (Emphasis on toss, you don't sip this. This will burn all the way down. Then the the resulting glow for lack of a better word will take care of you with a meal or afterwards for a while. Just a little bit will do ya.)

Then you have your Beers. All sorts. Pick and drink what you like. I keep a couple cans generally. Nothing fancy. Bottom of the pile is small group of what i call wine coolers, that is more of a choice for the ex who likes them but have to be careful with these because it can hurt her coming from a destructive family history of drinking as it was part of who she was, being a scotch Irish (House of Stewarts) of all things combined with Norwegian and France. Its the Scot in her that's pretty dominant. (Thank god, I cannot stand a wussy or some kind of delicate flower that faints at the least sound of battle.) Its good she stands up to me when she needs to. (And vice versa)

I can go on about the drinking. But the drinking is less of a emphasis more on the social situation over dinner or some event in the family such as a post death night watch called a wake. The really good ones involve laughter of good memories and story telling that really supports the best of those who have passed on. The really bad wakes are those you show up, have a shot curse the person and thank god we buried the SOB deep. And thats the end of that. Time to get going and home before it gets really bad for those who make the wrong decision to stick around because sometimes there are things said that cannot be taken back in the light of the coming sunrise. (And will not be spoken of again, ever.)

    Congratulations.

    Keep on it.

I thought I was sunk a few years ago at around 262 liek the rest of my beef family all of whom reached obesity at one age or another.

Im down to 198 and falling. It's been swinging between 205 and 181 It's getting pretty difficult to get down into the 180's and stay there. Or even breach it.

I would have to hate to think what the possibilties were in order to have the body think to do certain changes to get into the 160's again.
