This is a TOTAL NON STOP OM TRUCKING ACTION UPDATE:

    THE TRUCK HAS STOPPED!!!!!!!

    STOPPED AT AN INDIGENOUS PETRO!!!!!

We got unloaded early, and made our way across the grain again through the ### hole of the world.

We're now at rest for the day, and pick up tomorrow to go a long way, with a short time to get there.

All the turkey is gone, so switching to honey ham.

We haven't hammed yet. Ate the last of our chicken breast.

If everything goes as planned ( LOL YEA RIGHT ) should be able to stop by The Casa Del OM and re-supply.

Sorry I'm late.....TTR wasn't working on my phone last night.

As much as my former self would LOVE the idea of a bus mechanic flask, the object in question looks to be one of those chrome or stainless steel body flashlights.

I would hazard a guess that the bus in the picture is a GMC New Look bus, aka "fishbowl" bus, TDM or TDH series.

The old boys in the garage told me these were simple engines to work on, and access was no problem.....unbolt the short driveshaft from the engine yoke, take two big retaining bolts out of the cradle, and slide the cradle to the rear.

Engine is now fully accessible for fluid service, overhead set, etc. More stuff has to be removed to pull it out, but it's a good head start.

Whole place is sketchy. The Haus has let me down. Ordered hash browns all the way. For one thing waitress had too much metal in face / nose. That is almost a deal breaker these days. Then hash browns show up HALF F RAW. With enough jalapeños for three orders and a piece of of unmelted 'Mercian cheese. Gak.
There is another Haus in Little Austin aka Columbia. May try it next time.
