If you ever find yourself in Neeses South Carolina. It’s the piggly wiggly there. Even has truck parking. Two eggs, ham, grits, toast and coffee for $14. The place is a Time Machine. They have quail dinner on Monday’s for like 11 bucks. I highly recommend it for anyone who finds themselves on 321 down in the sticks. As a bonus, mega don’t travel the old road.

As a sad side note. They finally tore down the old interstate Truckstop building down in Ulmer. Where 321 and 301 come together. I never had the pleasure of stopping there. It shut down sometime after they built the big road. But in the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s it must’ve been a hopping place.
