What if it Snows?

If the wife goes to work, she can pay for improvements on the truck. It’s a vicious cycle

 

Wouldn’t make no difference— hides a hide—If’n it wasn’t for mothers we’d all shot each other or died of the clap — and that hide never find nuth’n to … never mind

 

She worked up until our first child was born, now she helps on the farm. She feeds the calves mostly, does the herd records, and helps milk most evenings. She Had a hen party tonight so I was on my own! And cooks and does laundry and lets me poke her on occasion!

 

Yeah it took 16 years after ours were born before she came off maternity leave. Women folks are a little lazy nowadays

I feel purty blessed all the way around. Life isn’t all roses, but it’s good.
