The wind has been pretty strong since yesterday.. and the internet has been obnoxiously slow... everytime the wind is strong, it affects the internet signal in the hotel here.... :angry2:
    I hate strong winds.... :angry6:
I am bored and want to go places far from here.. but with no car.. it will take forever...
It's too windy to enjoy the beach out there... and I don't want to go to the beach...
I hate to feel like this.... so much to do in America, and here... but still.. gotta sit and wait, wait, wait....:angry6:

Ok.... vent over.. will try to find something useful and productive to do....

Sounds like it's time for a deluxe smoothie?

Mostly to give you a good excuse to get out of the room.

Yeah... I think about eating something delicious...

I thought about going to another town... Teresopolis.. it's on the mountains of Rio... about 3 hrs away from here by car... but not going to rent a car because of unavailability and very high cost... when they have it..:biggrin_1square1:
So, would have to take a bus... I mean, 2 buses... that takes 5:30 hrs... :biggrin_2552: there are only a few bus schedules going and coming that way.. So, would have to stay in a hotel up there in Teresopolis... I am still considering.. but not today....
I need to do laundry today.. Planning to get it done at a friend's place nearby here.. he has a washer... but no dryer... but only at 5 pm when he will be at home...
There is only one laundry place in this town and they charge way too much... I refuse to pay... :angry1:
Called another friend.. she is not doing well.. maybe I go there to see if she needs any help...

You will be fine and like running that area.
Little traffic, wide open for the most part.

    Nope to both.

    It’s freakin’ Nevada. I didn’t see that coming. It’s a bit off the 80

You do realize on Keto diets. Both items you listed are not allowed? No sweets or carbs. Fruits and breads are a major nono. As the human body turns sugars and carbohydrates into fat.

If otter wants to snack on something he is allowed to have cheese as it is something he can have alot of if truly on Keto. An egg breakfast with bacon is permissable.

Most of what you listed is too low in fat. The key to ketosis is knowing what percentages work for you. In my case I have years of doing it get into my racing weight. I stick to about 30 grams of complex carbs or less. Just depends on my activity level. I can run a bit lower fat and higher protein then most without getting into protein biogenesis.

I want to explain to people that the above is sort of correct. You still have choices and how you want to use them. An orange which has the sugar locked in a fiber matrix as a simple explanation is fine depending on your carb load and physical activity. Cheerios have sugars that are to easily accessible and create a glycemic event that causes insulin production. A calorie is not a calorie. A calorie of Coke is different than a calorie from an apple.

The easier way to explain the Keto diet is to call it the what I can get away with diet. Everyone is different you need to figure it out.

Also some people have additional issues that slow your body from transitioning from a glycogen based fuel supply to a ketone energy source. Your brain can burn ketones or glycogen. Ketones in my case burn like a stable race fuel. It just keeps going. Sugar just explodes and creates the peak and crash wave that has me chasing it.

I have a Keto calculator that I used to use...now it’s pretty easy for me to get into and stay in ketosis.

So, a calorie is not calorie except when the calorie is a calorie? I think I got it.
