Well the tornado missed us again.
But I left my place in my pickup and ran right into a strong narrow thunderstorm. Small hail, wind and a lot of rain. I was going so slow I turned that yellow flashing light on so nobody would run in to me.
Then it sunny and nice again.
I went down to Evansville to a lighting store. I had to make an appointment and take pictures and my blueprints. She helped me pick everything out and for nice quality stuff the final price ended up a lot lower than I planned. Sure beat going to Lowes or Amazon.

How do you know those weren't a recon squad of tornadoes gathering Intel for the main group?

I thought the militarization of the police was bad, Now the weather systems are forming units and squads?

I got tired of reading about all the floodings and evacuations and the nuclear power plant having to shut down.
All that water soaking in the ground will soften up the locust eggs and this summer our entire food crops will be eaten by the swarms.

I'm at the Round Table in Susanville. @Blu_Ogre we have a slight situation with one of our colleagues, that I'm thinking uses English as a second language, on the CA 139 north of town near the bottom of the grade.

I think he saw the greater than 30 feet to king pin not recommended sign, and got scared and tried to turn around.

Ummmm. Yea. Well. I'm at the Round Table in Susanville on my 30.

There's a big difference between not recommended and restricted though.

Well, again, there's a nuance there that frankly I'm not comfortable explaining.
English is a very hard language.

lovesthedrive, Dave_in_AZ and Lepton1 Thank this.

My cousin works for CalTrans at Susanville. You should hear the stories he tells about ESL drivers who go wandering blindly out through the countryside with no real idea of what the warning signs are trying to tell them.
For a long time they had a wall in the shop covered with OOPS pictures but some sensitive soul made them take down what was probably the best collection of driver idiocy I'd ever see,

lovesthedrive, x1Heavy and Lepton1 Thank this.

In all seriousness, the stuff really needs to be plainer.
    YES or NO.

    lovesthedrive and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
