My wife does the same crap, very annoying, say something and no response, raise your voice and the response is something like why the "F" are you yelling at me, "Ah you didn't respond", I didn't hear you is the response, OK so WHAT TF do you expect.

 

There are several capable, as long as the bullet goes in the right spot. That question kind of fits the answer, " how much money do you want to spend". Also what kind of bear? A black bear and a Grizzly are much different.
