Get home from a 6 day Midwest run this morning to find this little minx @CattlemansBabe in my bed, wearing one of my shirts and nothing else. After a shower, and some "On Duty, Not Driving" time I gave her a new shirt and made breakfast for 2...

Well yes and no... that's not my ex-wife. But she may be a wife sometime in the future, but it's way too early to even guess at that.

Standard Midwest town next to a big city. Imo. It's a nice church. I have been two or three times. In a car. You goto gate and state your going to church. You get a parking permit good for 2 hours amd a couple of parking lots.

I was with a trainer in my first trucking job. (Didn't last a week with these guys....story for another day)

We stopped in New Jersey at a truckstop that everyone called "Johnnies". I-78 or I-287 or thereabouts. Had a dirt parking lot that looked like it had taken artillery fire. Big craters.

The back wall of the counter was a whiteboard, with the menu written on it in dry-erase marker.

I was overtired and overwhelmed, and didn't have an answer when the waitress asked, "What'll ya have?"

The guy at the next table said, "Get the meatloaf".

    His partner agreed. "Yup. Meatloaf."

Guy at the next table: "Oh yeah. Meatloaf".

So I got the meatloaf, and I don't know if it was that good, or I was so hungry, or so in need of comfort food on my first trip away from my new wife (Missus Skillet), that it was.....SUBLIME!

My mouth still waters at the thought of it. Best meatloaf I ever ate, before or since.

In fact, I was shoveling it down so fast, that I sucked a piece from the back of my throat into my sinus and I couldn't cough it back down.

So I sneezed, and blew a chunk of meatloaf into my handkerchief.

    And yes. I ate it.

    Anyway, more driving......
