    Most reasonable answer is that as newborns the kittens press their little paws against
    the mothers breasts' stimulating the flow of milk as they greedily chomp... Observe sometime.

    So it is the sleep induced revival of a latent instinct as they age.
    Similar to some of present day mans most enjoyable pursuits....

    Yeah... wish it were that easy.... :biggrin_1square1: it takes me "FOREVER" to gain weight... since last end of August I may have gained 1 or 2 lbs.... even though I have been eating 4 times more than when I was in the truck.... But it feels good to feel my clothes a little bit tighter.... :biggrin_25519:
