Yes I did. And he said well usually they are very good. Must have been an “off” day. I have experienced that even at Q joints with a reputation for excellent Q.

You know, I turned it on before I went to actually mix and it worked fine in all three gears. Got it in the cake batter and it threw a fit in second and third gear. Got done and tried it again with no load worked fine.

I’ve got one of those too but like to use the old vintage stuff.

IMG_8244.jpeg Not sure where to even start with this one so here goes. Around late fall our neighbor left her husband and met a new guy that lived close to us. I became friends with him and we’d go grab a beer usually once a week or so. After a few months it turned out that he was bipolar and had some issues. They broke up, he started stalking her and showed up at our house trying to figure out why we quit talking to him. Tried to ignore him for a few months, and it worked for awhile. Turns out our neighbor wasn’t quite as honest as she led on and kept texting with him. This Tuesday he decided to hang himself in a townhouse about 300 yards from her and us. Been a weird week. In some ways I’m relieved that we don’t have to be worried of running into him. In another way I feel bad for the poor F***er that he decided that was the way he was going out. Keeps me up at night thinking about what he went through in those final moments. Not a memorial to him in any way, but it make a guy think.

Grim — there’s a lot of opinions on stuff like that and you can probably guess what mine would be

It’s probably about what I think about him. In some ways it makes me mad that anyone ever has to think about him again. He didn’t deserve the attention he’s getting.

Indians and the Aboriginals and the Eskimos wouldn’t never say the name of someone that went to the spirits ever again— maybe that’s the answer

It’ll be the answer good enough for me. I apologize for even bringing it up. I’m about 12 coors lights deep and haven’t really had this happen before. Honestly blocked it out of my mind until now.
