grapefruit ? Aww hell i'd saw it down plant a peach tree at least you can eat a peach .

You have never had a grapefruit right off the tree... They arent even a little bit sour. And if you ever saw this bad boy (Gaffney, SC water tower) coming from the north at night, it would scare you off peaches forever. (it looks like a giant ### crack at night).

 

I can thoroughly enjoy a grapefruit for breakfast!!! the place we bought last year has a white peach tree. Never had them before, but man, they are great!!! Super sweet, soft, but not mushy. Great sliced with a little sugar sprinkled on! Don’t keep though, several days max. Wife froze some last summer, they make great milkshakes!

Dutch Oven cobbler is what I do with ours

Butter the Dutch really good
Peaches on the bottom
2 boxes of Betty Crocker white cake mix on top
Bunch of slices of Philadelphia cream cheese on top of that
Can of Vanilla Coke on top of that
Cook until edible

 

LOL they changed it (in 2015) so it doesnt look as bad. I saw it originally in 1985 I think? Maybe 86.
