    That was my first thought, but the trucker still should have been on his game enough to see that he might’ve had a problem.

    Neither party really has clean hands here, IMHO.

    I vote for situational awareness— about like the bridge thingy or low hanging power lines or… never mind… might inconvenience some wine slurping suburban mom from taking her little girl with a 12” pecker to a volleyball game for 5 minutes or so, but carnage can be avoided

    A bridge is for certain hard to justify, but I can’t entirely fault a man for wires. God knows I’ve tore down my share of phone and cable lines trying to get people’s crap delivered.

    The last one I got was one of those 3” thick ones while pulling into a landscape contractor’s yard, and that was on a state road. Verizon had to eat that, and it couldn’t happen to nicer people.
