200 pine
100 spruce
100 Chennault Oak
200 American Hazelnut
100 hardwood (I forget what kind)
My place is along a State Highway and I want the evergreens to block the view in the wintertime.
I got a Dibble bar so it shouldn’t take too long to plant them.
What if it Snows?

Check with the local office of the forest service.
They have programs for native species plantings. Some times the will give or sell for a small cost, stock that they have.Dave_in_AZ, x1Heavy, tramm01 and 2 others Thank this. -
I am not much for trees, but at those kinds of rates I can probably go through a bag or two to replace some of the previous and year prior's storm damage. Before we lose the land too much.Dave_in_AZ, tramm01 and tucker Thank this. -
I just want some pine trees blocking the view in the winter.
And I have room to park a lot of trucks,
But then it is nice when the other drivers I know from the foundry drive by and blow their air horns at me. Or even yesterday the propane guy I know honked as he drove past.
Back to the snow and flooding.Dave_in_AZ, lovesthedrive and Cattleman84 Thank this.
