That ash cone is too hot for that. Unless your using a 10ft pole.....

I have not seen any starlings setting up nest this year in them......... Now they can't.

Had a crow lecturing at me when I lit off the previous one, Things got a bit heated and it flew off.... It was one of it's observation decks.

Don't underestimate crows, they are very intelligent and pass on information to the new generation...stuff like which human is the bad guy. They also have a sense of humor, so don't be surprised if you get "owned" by crows for the next several years. Maybe a peace offering is in order.

Don’t underestimate crows. Some smart birds.
Book I was reading had some interesting information about them. They can learn to identify people by sight, they remember faces. If one of the group gets killed, they will leave that area for a long time, years sometimes.

Milk hauling is off for the foreseeable future — start a local gravel haul stockpiling for chip sealing in the morning for the meantime. Got feel for the folks in Nebraska/Ohio.

    Already?

    That's not good.

God I wish I can be out in Green Valley or some of other places I know #### well are covered in pretty things what with the wet winter we have had all year. The birds are starting to layoff that birdseed I put out so far in the last 6 weeks, 100 pounds and maybe one more bag first week of next. That that should do it for them to eat bugs from here on out.

Summit of US 322 must be pretty piney right now with that grass fixing to get yea high already I bet. Im just sorry Im not there to see it any time soon.

    Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
