I wish you all a good day tomorrow wherever you are, wherever you go and whatever you do.... Stay warm, stay dry, stay safe and take care of yourselves... Winter has not started yet and I heard it's going to be nasty.... Well.. all winters in America are nasty IMO... :biggrin_2552:

My track day bike, 2012 ZX10r.

Pretty much what otter said. Most if not all places will make you block off your mirrors and lights with masking tape, if your actually gonna ride the thing on something other than track. Unless your just gonna block that all off for a track only set up.

Also, make sure absolutly nothing is leaking, thats and instant no go.

A coach will go a long way, it takes time to get that knee down. I learned the stupid way, but one of the instructors over here helped me with my positioning. Aint no feeling like flipping one of these over in a split second for the next corner.

Each track is different on gear, some will accept a two piece that zips together, some wont. Just check the track rules before you buy your gear.

I switched over to AGV helmets a while ago, there less expensive models like the K3 or K5 work very nicely. No reason for the ultra high end unless, you just want the GP gear.

Personally i recommend actually getting to a store to test fit if you can. Track gear particularly, is typically not frindly to the broad shouldered. At least whats usually on the shelves.

I started a bit of a kerfuffle the last CABS class I went to. They did not take kindly to me pointing out that none were offered west of the Rockies, and that I had no interest in running low paying freight in the Midwest to get to another one. I actually considered just flying out and back as a way to take less of a revenue hit. Both CABS I attended were bookended by some of my lowest revenue weeks.

Sometime during the second year of my enlistment, I got my license back.

    Got a GS550e.

When we'd get a special liberty ( 72 or 96 ) hours, I'd go see, sometimes with friends, mein frauline in Sacramento.

I'd lay down and put my feet over the rear turn signals going through the Grapevine. About 135 was maxxed.

It never even occurred to me getting a ticket, and I never did.

    Them things are dangerous.
