Well I went to New Orleans for two nights. Rented a room. First night I had a balcony over looking the street. Heavy trucks in early morning woke me up, Overated. Second night interior cout yard room, much better. Here are some random pictures.
Catholic Church. The scene is King of France blessing people who are to fight the crusades
They spray the street down in the morning. Around 9 am.
Oh wait one more. The is Lafitte black smith shop. This is the site of the pirates blacksmith shop where he sold looted goods. War of 1812 his muskets and cannons were used to defend the city and arm the townspeople. Or cities people? Now it's a bar. Iirc his brother ran the "pawn" shop and he did the pirating.Last edited: Aug 9, 2025
