    They make these portable ac units these days. My massage lady has one. It's got a hose that fits in a window. Works pretty good.

    Capacitor? Usually first thing I check , I had to replace one last year. I keep a spare, my son runs a HVAC supply place in Conyers,GA. He said the new parts for almost all systems now are $h1t. Good luck getting it going it's too hot !

    Have one at the house. Toshiba brand. Works pretty good. Only use it for the master bedroom. Gets the room quite cold.

    we have one in the dog kennel. Does a great job! Never use it unless there’s puppies in there

    I'd be dying at 83. Dad kept his at 86 the last few years he was in the house. :eek:
