    Your right, School Superintendents for an ISD of that size easy to make 250k just from the ISD. BUT, they make huge bank on consulting fees of at least equal to their regular pay. What happens is his own school district will be planning on a big multimillion expense and the wise thing to do is hire a consultant to study it first before you go and spend a million or two. So, he will call a buddy of his and say hay I've got a consulting job that will pay 80k... BTW what do you need consulting work on for the same amount? One hand washing the other all in the name of doing the right thing of doing some research before you spend the school's money.
