I am from Texas. I did not know I had a connection to Frank Hamer through his wife, Gladys, until a cousin did some research on the Johnson-Sims feud. My cousin and I share a great-grandmother whose maiden name was Johnson. If I understand the family tree correctly, Gladys and I are 2nd cousins 3 times removed. In other words, Gladys and my great-grandmother were 2nd cousins. Also, while I am 100% positive about the Johnsons. My cousin has found evidence that we are also related to the Sims family.

If anybody finds this interesting, remember that the actor Tom Hanks is related to Abraham Lincoln's mother, Nancy Hanks Lincoln, as are some others.
