    No; cut ground level, smooth some dirt over and a mound of leaves. Leave no trace. Cut 2 inches of the tree you took, in case forensics try to match your discarded tree with the found site remains. I know; a lot of effort, but only 50 feet from your carport door....

    The OM couldn't sleep last night, so I got wtf worked in the middle of the night.

    It's just wrong on every level.
